Can't get past the flavor/texture December 30, 2008 I guess I'm not giving a fully accurate review because I can't even tell you if this product works or not. I used it for 2 days and ended up returning it. The kit consists of 2 types of capsules and 1 little container of powder that you mix with water and drink it. The capsules....I can handle swallowing those. The powdered drink mix thing....DISGUSTING! The first day I drank it, I immediately vomited. It tasted absolutely horrible even though I tried plugging my nose and just slamming it down quickly. No matter how well I mixed it, the bottom of the glass had a bunch of the powder sitting there still. The next day I tried the powder/liquid again and again I vomited. The 3rd day I returned my box to Seattle Super Supplements (I did NOT purchase it on Amazon but at SSS). By the time I returned the item, I still had not went to the bathroom. I'm glad I didn't waste my money and returned it. I don't know how anyone can possibly choke down that vile tasting stuff. There are other products that consist of taking a few pills and the results happen quickly and those other products are less expensive. Try something else! Must be used properly December 11, 2008 I'm not surprised that there are so many negative reviews. The majority of people in this country have an overabundance of toxins in their bodies. To begin a cleanse with an overly-toxic system will result in greater negative reactions when those toxins are removed from the system. I have had nothing but positive results with Perfect Cleanse. It was gentle, and I had no side effects; however, I believe that may have been because of the diet I had been following for several years. No processed foods, eat organic, virtually NO sugar or sweets, no soda for 13 years, and drink only water and tea. Perfect Cleanse is perfect for those who have been following a healthy diet for a while, but just good for those who haven't. Those who are jumping from a poor diet to a cleanse are going to have a more severe reaction with any cleanse or detox, not just this one. But this one is one of the more gentle ones you'll find on the market. couldn't even finish the 10 days October 22, 2008 I had to throw it out.On the 3rd day I felt small headaches. On the 4th day loose stool and nausea. 5th day nausea, severe diarrehea follwed by vomiting. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Best Cleanse on the Market! I have tried several other cleanses and Perfect Cleanse has been the best experience BY FAR! I didn't have headaches, body aches, or nausea. Just changes in bowel activity and movements, but that's to be expected. It may be that I'm not having bad symptoms because I'm not eating much sugar or preservatives the rest of the year. For those who ARE experiencing yucky symptoms, don't give up! You're feeling the effects of toxins already IN your body, LEAVING it! That's a good thing. If you can survive by drinking lots of water and eating simply during the 10 days, it will be worth it...and may inspire healthier eating the rest of the time. By the way, I think Garden of Life recommends this cleanse 4 times a year. I think it's gentle enough to do that, and with such a great price, I'm planning on it. wish i could just buy Remove July 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful I never bothered to look at reviews for this product and am kind of surprised so many had bad results. I have tried many other cleanses: Dr. Natura, Blessed Herbs, and another brand I can't think of. Also, from reading other's revies, I'm realizing that I didn't follow directions and change my diet while on this cleanse (ate like normal). I generally don't have an easy time going, if you know what I mean, and I purposefully avoid any fiber supplements- anything other than fruits and vegetables tends to back me up. So, I've been happy with the results of this cleanse (done it twice) and the remove product has been more effective for me than any other brand. I've been wondering what special thing is in their proprietary blend that works for me and just wanted to buy Remove by itself. From most other cleanses I either get backed up or have diarrhea and so far this is the only one that works for me. (sorry for the details...) Just goes to show that everyone's body is different I guess.
