Good mix of naturally occurring bacterial species to repopulate the gut after antibiotic therapy, for instance, or just for every day good digestive health.

I've been taking this probiotic for about four years now and I can move freely again. In my late 50's and early 60's I was becoming crippled with osteoarthritis and the only recommendation I could get from the medical community was ibuprofen 800 mg, which made me so sick and I was getting so I could hardly walk and surgery was recommended in both my wrists for carpel tunnel. Well I did not want surgery and a destroyed stomach so in desperation I started taking Garden of Life's Primal Defense Ultra. Today I can walk, run, move my arms freely and the swelling is gone from my wrists I can even ride my bicycle and I will be 70 soon. Primal Defense Ultra 180 caps, Garden of Life

Garden of Life is an awesome product line and this has been told to me by 4 different nutritionists and a couple of doctors (who are not complete slaves to the big business drug companies/FDA). Their Primal Defense (probiotics) is especially good and should be taken by everyone. Obviously, choosing a good brand is important but you need to also be sure your products are fresh and not out of date and essentially useless. This is even more important when purchasing online. Rule of thumb; the fresher it is, the better it is. Buy from a distributer you trust with a good return policy in case you receive expired supplements.
